1. Who we are
J.T Elite Recruitment ("J.T Elite," "we," "us," "our") is a private membership recruitment platform headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating across the Middle East. We connect senior delivery, technology and change leadership professionals in the banking sector with mandates that are not publicly advertised.
2. Eligibility & applications
Membership is by application only. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We assess applications based on seniority, professional background, and fit with our current mandates, and may decline an application at our discretion, including after an initial verification conversation.
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information about yourself. You're responsible for keeping your profile up to date while your Membership is active.
3. What Membership includes
An active Membership gives you:
- Access to live, exclusive mandates within your discipline (or, for full access tiers, across all disciplines);
- A named relationship manager who represents you to hiring principals;
- The ability to apply directly to mandates published on the platform.
Membership does not include any guarantee of introduction to a specific employer, interview, offer, or placement. See section 8.
4. Fees & billing
Membership is billed monthly at £50 GBP, or the equivalent in your selected billing currency (currently GBP, EUR, USD, AED or SAR), converted at the rate applied at the time of charge. Displayed conversions elsewhere on the site are indicative only; the amount confirmed at checkout is what applies.
Billing recurs automatically each month until you cancel. You're responsible for keeping your payment details current — a failed payment may result in suspended access until it's resolved.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. New members also have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period, which works differently depending on whether you chose immediate access at sign-up. Full detail — including what happens if you cancel partway through a billing month, or during the cooling-off period having already used the service — is set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Share your Membership access, account, or mandate details with anyone who is not a Member;
- Use the platform to solicit candidates or business on behalf of a third-party recruitment firm;
- Provide false or misleading information in your application or profile;
- Approach a hiring principal or employer named in a mandate other than through the process we set out.
Breach of this section may result in suspension or termination of your Membership without refund of the current billing period, in accordance with section 9.
7. Confidentiality
Mandate details, including employer identity and compensation information, are shared with you in confidence and for your personal use in considering that opportunity only. We take similar care with your own information — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data, and section 8 of that policy for when we share it with a hiring principal (only with your consent, on a per-mandate basis).
8. No guarantee of placement
J.T Elite is a Membership access platform, not an employment agency guaranteeing outcomes. We do not guarantee that any Member will be introduced to, interviewed by, or hired by any employer. Hiring decisions are made solely by the hiring organisation. Membership fees are for access to the platform and its services, not for a placement outcome.
9. Suspension & termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your Membership, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or if we reasonably believe your continued Membership poses a risk to us, our other Members, or our hiring principals. Where we terminate for breach, no refund is due for the current billing period.
We may also discontinue the platform or a Membership tier with reasonable notice; in that case, you'll receive a pro-rated refund for any period paid for but not delivered, other than where section 5's cancellation rules already apply.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, J.T Elite is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including loss of employment opportunity, income, or reputation. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how the platform works. We'll give you reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing your Membership after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. [CONFIRM WITH SOLICITOR: whether this should reflect a different jurisdiction given members are billed and based across multiple Middle East countries, and whether a separate dispute-resolution clause is needed for cross-border members.]
