1. Who we are

J.T Elite Recruitment, headquartered in the United Kingdom and operating across the Middle East, is the "data controller" for the personal data described in this policy — meaning we decide how and why it's processed.

2. What we collect

When you apply for Membership, we collect:

  • Identity & contact details: full name, email address, phone number;
  • Professional details: current job title, employer, discipline, years of experience, current location, notice period, LinkedIn profile;
  • Membership preferences: billing currency, access preference (immediate vs. after cooling-off);
  • Billing information: handled by our payment processor directly — we do not store your full card details ourselves.

If you contact us directly (for example, by email), we'll also hold the content of that correspondence.

3. How we use it

  • To assess your Membership application and verify your professional background;
  • To match you with relevant mandates and introduce you to a relationship manager;
  • To process your subscription payments and manage billing;
  • To communicate with you about your Membership, applications, or mandates;
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including in relation to recruitment activity.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data with:

  • Hiring principals / employers — only for a specific mandate, and only with your prior consent;
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, including our payment processor, our application-form and email providers, and any hosting provider;
  • Regulators or authorities where we're legally required to.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. International transfers

Because we operate across the Middle East as well as the UK, your data may be processed or accessed outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we use appropriate safeguards required under UK data protection law, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations. [CONFIRM WITH SOLICITOR: specific transfer mechanism per country of operation, and whether any Middle East data-localisation rules apply to member data collected there.]

7. Cookies & tracking

This site does not currently use cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking technologies. If that changes — for example, if we add analytics to understand how the site is used — we'll update this section and, where required, ask for your consent first.

8. How long we keep it

We keep application and Membership data for as long as your Membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Unsuccessful applications are kept for [CONFIRM PERIOD — e.g. 12 months] in case a suitable mandate arises, unless you ask us to delete your data sooner.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you're based, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Have inaccurate data corrected;
  • Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Receive your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in section 12.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including restricting access to those who need it and using reputable third-party providers for payments and communications. No system is completely secure, and we'll notify you and any relevant regulator if we become aware of a breach that's likely to affect you, as required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page, with an updated "last updated" date at the top.

12. Contact & complaints

Questions or requests about your data can be sent to privacy@jteliterecruitment.com. [REPLACE with your real contact.] If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or the relevant data protection authority where you're based.
